What AAC Autism Communicator Does

AAC Autism Communicator is an offline-first iOS app for card-based AAC communication, phrase building, visual schedules, practice mode and caregiver board customization.

First Checks

Confirm the app is updated to the latest App Store version.
Confirm iOS speech output is enabled and the device volume is audible.
If a custom board does not look right, open the adult/caregiver area and review board layout, card labels and selected vocabulary.
If custom photos were added, confirm the photos still exist in local app storage and were not removed with app data.
If the app is offline, continue using the core communicator. No network connection is required for the card board, phrase strip or speech output.

Privacy

The current app does not require an account, backend, cloud sync, analytics SDK or advertising SDK. Child communication boards, custom cards and adult-added images are stored locally on the device unless exported by the user.
