AAC Autism Communicator Privacy Policy

Overview
AAC Autism Communicator is designed as an offline-first iOS app for card-based AAC communication, phrase building, visual schedules, practice mode and caregiver board customization.
Data Stored On Device
The app may store communication-support data locally on your device. This may include:
- selected vocabulary cards and board layout;
- custom card labels and categories;
- adult-added custom card images or photos;
- visual schedule items and phrase strip state;
- local caregiver settings and accessibility preferences;
- locally generated AAC Passport export files, if the user chooses to create them.
This data is stored locally using app storage such as UserDefaults, Application Support files or other local iOS storage.
Data Sent To Us
The current app does not send child communication data, custom cards, photos, voice, location, medical details or family context to AAC Autism Communicator servers. The current app does not include a backend, analytics SDK, advertising SDK or user account system.
Speech Output
Speech output uses iOS system text-to-speech on the device. The app does not record microphone audio for core communication.
Tracking And Advertising
The current app does not track users and does not share data with advertising networks or data brokers.
User Control
You control the local information stored in the app. Removing the app from your device may remove local app data unless it has been separately exported or backed up by your device.
